The stars of Spandau Ballet were left squirming when they watched their "awkward" new documentary because the film shows the devastating breakdown of their friendship.
The pop group split in 1990 amid a bitter feud between the bandmembers which resulted in lengthy legal wrangling over financial matters.
They eventually mended the rift and reunited in 2009, and their career is documented in new film Soul Boys of the Western World. The documentary shows the bitter fallout between the bandmates, and frontman Tony Hadley admits it was difficult to watch.
He tells Britain's Daily Mail , "It's an interesting film. It does not sugar-coat anything about what happened in the past. Me and Gary (Kemp) watched and said, 'Ooh, that's a bit awkward.'"
Guitarist Kemp adds, "It's been very uncomfortable viewing for the band - there are some tough bits, the way we behaved. You gradually see the breakdown of these friends."
