The 23-year-old radio presenter scored a date with the American pop singer after interviewing her for his Capital FM show on Sunday (13Mar16).
After flirting on air the DJ later admitted they hit it off and plan to meet up when Selena, 23, next visits London.
Speaking to The Sun Online he said, "I’ve invited her out for pizza and she seems to think that it’s going to happen when she comes back on tour so we’ll see."
The Good For You singer is a known lover of the Italian foodstuff, and once revealed she made pizza at Jennifer Aniston's house while the Friends star dished out "maternal advice."
Living up to his name, the son of 80s New Romantic stars Martin and Wham! backing singer Shirlie Holliman, admitted he was immediately smitten with Selena when she came into the studio.
"I've got a huge crush on Selena Gomez. When she came into the studio, I was like, 'Oh my god,' he admitted. "She’s one of those people that you see so much on TV and stuff, and then she’s even more stunning in real life."
Though as a friend to Selena's ex, Canadian singer Justin Bieber, he admitted he was cautious.
"It’s a bit awkward because I’m mates with the Biebs, so I can’t do that. It’s bro code. I wouldn’t want to run the risk of offending him." Adding, "I stick to the bro code but it would be very difficult with Selena."
The DJ has admitted if he needs advice on how best to deal with famous people he can always count on his parents.
"I speak to my parents after every job - I have an amazing relationship with them," he told The Star newspaper last year (Nov15). "They’ve always spoken to me more like a friend than a child. My dad has met loads of different characters, so he gives great advice on how to deal with people. It’s a massive help."
Selena was mobbed by admiring fans when she arrived at London's St Pancras station last week (11Mar16) after coming off the EuroTunnel from Paris.
