Controversial South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are writing a 'marionette-style' film which will poke fun at terrorism and unwelcome celebrities.

The currently untitled project - previously known as AMERICAN HEROES - will be directed and voiced by the comedic pair, and will maintain their reputation for tackling taboos.

The plot involves superheroes determined to eradicate terrorism and irritating celebrities who have outstayed their welcome.

In March (03), Trey said, "It'll be animated but won't have anything to do with SOUTH PARK."
