If he were not a fictional character, Her Majesty's secret servant would probably be up for a knighthood after upending British box office records for two weeks in a row. On Monday Sony and MGM released figures indicating that the latest James Bond blockbuster had become the fastest film ever to cross the =A350 million ($80 million) mark at the British box office (its total now stands at =A353.4 million or $86 million) and posted the biggest second weekend total in the U.K. ever. Altogether, the movie earned $156 million overseas bringing its foreign total to $287 million, leading many analysts to forecast that the film will eventually break the worldwide record for a 007 film -- $594 million, set by Casino Royale in 2006.
