Sony/MGM's Skyfall may turn out to be the biggest 007 film ever, if early overseas results are any indication. Playing in only 25 countries, the film has already grossed more than $100 million in just five days, according to expectations based on the fact that the film earned $13.6 million on Monday to bring its four-day gross to $96.6 million. Although final figures for Tuesday are not available, it is presumed that the film earned at least $4 million on its fifth day, to put it above $100 million. On Monday, Skyfall earned $6.8 million in the U.K. alone, the biggest Monday haul ever in that country, surpassing the previous record of $5.2 million set on a Monday last year by Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. The film is due to open domestically on Nov. 9.
