The London jury in the road rage trial of former So Solid Crew rapper ROMEO retired to consider its verdict yesterday (27JUN05).

The 21 SECONDS hitmaker - real name MARVIN DORKING - is accused of attacking a nightclub reveller in a Chinatown, central London car park, along with his brother JULIAN DORKING and friends THOMAS ENGOLA and DARREN MOORE, following a night out at the nearby Cirque @ Hippodrome club.

The jury in the British capital's Southwark Crown Court has heard how the gang of four "hit, kicked and punched" victim EJAY ARMSTRONG, who managed to break free and fled "bleeding badly".

Armstrong and his friends say they were blocked from leaving the car park in their vehicle, when Moore's Fiat parked deliberating in their destined driveway.

Armstrong claims he saw Romeo holding a knife.

The Dorkings, Engola and Moore have pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm with intent, wounding Armstrong with intent and violent disorder.
