Two members of UK garage act So Solid Crew have been remanded in custody after pleading not guilty to firearms charges.

SHANE NEIL and JASON PHILLIPS, known as KAISH and G-MAN respectively, both 24, were charged following an alleged incident near London's Leicester Square on 14 November last year (02).

They appeared before SOUTHWARK CROWN COURT in London today (27MAR03) for a plea and directions hearing.

Neil pleaded not guilty to possessing a handgun and ammunition and offering the supply of a controlled drug and Phillips declined to make a plea without "proper representation".

The judge, GEORGE BATHURST-NORMAN, ordered not guilty pleas be entered on the charges against Phillips of possessing a handgun and three counts of possessing ammunition.

The two 21 SECONDS hitmakers were remanded in custody and a trial date was set for June 9 (03).
