Snoop Dogg's movie production company went to bizarre lengths to get publicity from the rapper's arrest in London on Wednesday (26APR06), issuing a press release mocking the incident. The hip-hop star and five members of his entourage were arrested on suspicion of affray and violent disorder after an incident in the first class lounge at the city's Heathrow Airport. Soon after, Snoopadelic Films sent a release to newspaper editors that read, "Snoop's DVD will be released on Monday. Let's hope that he will be too!" It also offered editors "pictures of Snoop in prison". Snoop - real name CALVIN BROADUS - was yesterday (27APR06) released on bail after spending a night in police custody. Although the rapper hasn't been charged, he must return to a London police station in mid-May (06). The five members of Snoop's entourage have also been bailed.
