Snoop Dogg has thanked hip-hop mogul Pharrell Williams for the chance to perform on Mariah Carey's new single Say Somethin'. Williams beckoned him over when they were coincidentally working in the same studio on the same day. And the rapper - real name CALVIN BROADUS - was even more thrilled to get musical advice from hip-hop star Nelly. He tells MTV, "We were working in the same studio. I was in the front end and she (Carey) was in the back. And Pharrell actually made it happen. "He was like, 'Come down the hallway and get on this mic right now.' "Nelly was there too. He gave me direction on which way to take my rap."
