One of his seven bodyguards, an off-duty police officer from the city's Inglewood school district, was wounded in the back, although it is currently unclear whether the injured man was travelling in the same car as the 31-year-old musician, real name CALVIN BROADUS.

The man was released from hospital earlier today (11APR03).

A police spokesperson BRIAN OWEN stated that, although Snoop and his entourage were questioned following the incident, he did not expect any charges to follow, and that no further arrests have been made at the moment.
