Rapper Snoop Dogg has purchased a stake in a new car care company created by his tattoo artist pal Mister Cartoon.

Cartoon launched a line of products called Sanctiond, which features everything from polishes to interior cleaners, and now the Drop It Like It's Hot hitmaker has funnelled some of his own cash into the venture.

In addition to becoming a part owner, Dogg, real name Calvin Broadus, Jr., will also serve as the corporation's new spokesperson and strategic consultant.

The tattoo artist tells AllHipHop.com, "This is a great day, to have someone I admire as an artist who is also a fan of the product, join my company in this capacity. Like me, Snoop is passionate in everything he does. We have a unique bond as artists and car lovers."

And the rapper-turned-reggae star even hopes to release his own range of items through the firm, adding, "We have been wanting to do this for years. There are no cool brands that represent our lifestyle and with Sanctiond we are excited to bring our communities together through a common love of our cars and the shine we can put on them."
