Hip-hop superstars Snoop Dogg and 50 CENT have teamed up to make one of the most powerful rap collaborations ever - and have already recorded an album together.

The two rap giants started working together after taking part in this year's (03) ROCK THE MIC tour and Snoop has a cameo in the new 50 Cent video P.I.M.P..

And after the success of their collaboration, they decided to form the new band with members of their crews DOGG POUND and G-UNIT - and their new name, DPG-UNIT, is a merging to the two monikers.

Snoop's cousin DAZ says, "We're gonna take over the whole world. We got a song with me, Snoop Dogg, (Snoop's protege) SOOPAFLY, Young Buck, Lloyd Banks and 50 Cent for the G-Unit album.

"Sometimes we're in there doing our parts while (members of the G-Unit) are onstage. Sometimes they're doing their parts while we're onstage.

"We'll be in there sometimes together. Especially after the show, we have our little parties and whatever. We be having a good time. We're trying to make it a whole album, just unite together and keep it crackin.'"

Details of the record, release dates and any live shows have yet to be announced.
