Cult metal act Snapcase have split after guitarist FRANK VICARIO and bass player DUSTIN PERRY left to form new group OURSELVES.

The group, who shot to fame in the late 1990s on the back of their acclaimed album PROGRESSION THROUGH LEARNING, has revealed members were too busy concentrating on other projects to focus on Snapcase matters.

Singer DARYL TABERSKI says, "Some of us need to do things in our lives other than be in a full-time band."
