Sly Stone's former bandmate Greg Errico hopes the funk legend can work through his personal problems as he is open to reuniting with the troubled musician again in the future.
The star shocked fans this month (Sep11) by revealing he has hit hard times and is currently homeless and living out of his car.
He also admitted suffering from drink and drug problems, but has vowed to check himself into rehab to kick his addictions for good.
Stone's former drummer Errico, who reunited with the star for a performance at California's Coachella music festival last year (10), hopes Stone keeps his word, because he would like to make music with him again.
Errico tells, "He knows if he ever wants to make music with us again, the door is always open."
