Rockers Slipknot and Slayer are joining forces again to tour Europe together this autumn (04), when the two bands plan to "lay waste to the entire continent".

Slipknot drummer JOEY JORDISON and his SLAYER counterpart DAVE LOMBARDO helped out headliners Metallica at Britain's Download Festival last weekend (06JUN04), when they filled in for ill drummer Lars Ulrich.

And now the two bands are so confident they make a good team they're heading out on the road together.

Slipknot's COREY TAYLOR says, "Two bands, two tribes, one tour that is going to lay waste to the entire continent of Europe.

"The ashes left behind will be made up of clenched fists and satisfied smiles. As of right now, no-one is safe. Be ready."
