Late rockers including RONNIE JAMES DIO, Slipknot's PAUL GRAY and former Stereophonics star STUART CABLE are to be honoured at Britain's Download music festival this weekend (11-13Jun10).
Videos commemorating the stars, who all passed away in the last month (May-Jun10), will be played throughout the event - with the first clip to be broadcast to the crowd during AC DC's Friday night (11Jun10) headline slot.
Tributes will also be made to late musicians Peter Steele, Avenged Sevenfold's Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan, Evile star Mike Alexander and Monsters Of Rock co-founder Maurice Jones.
Gray will receive his own dedication on Saturday (12Jun10) night prior to Rage Against The MAChine's headline slot on the main stage.
Festival organisers previously announced the second stage at the event in Derbyshire, England, will be renamed The Ronnie James Dio Stage.
