Slayer fans desecrated a New York seminary on Tuesday after being urged by a fansite to cause chaos in honour of 6 June 2006 - the so-called day of the devil. The priest training centre was spray-painted with pentagrams, upside-down crosses and Slayer-related messages, including REIGN IN BLOOD - the title of the metal band's 1986 album. The crazed fans were reportedly obeying a site which dubbed the Satan-related date the 'National Day Of Slayer'. In order to celebrate it, the website suggested listening to the band's music, killing a "neighbour's dog" and spray-painting "Slayer logos on churches, synagogues or cemeteries."
