Rocker Slash is glad he went solo - because he loves making his own decisions in the studio.
The former Guns N' Roses and Velvet Revolver guitarist has been working on tracks for his debut solo LP.
And he admits it is refreshing not having other band members interfering in the songs.
He says, "I'm totally on my own. It's very cathartic. I'm used to being in a band situation where I'm one fifth of the input. This is interesting for me because I'm just doing my thing and I have no-one to answer to."
