Slash, Steve Vai and STEVE LUKATHER turned a Los Angeles music art gallery into a starry mecca at the weekend (05Dec09) when the trio joined other rock luminaries at the launch of photographer NEIL ZLOZOWER's new book, SIX-STRING HEROES.
The modern guitar greats joined Mr. Big star Paul Gilbert and former Kiss and Grand Funk Railroad star Bruce Kulick at Mr. Musichead Gallery on Saturday to honour Zlozower, who was signing copies of his new tome, which showcases 150 of the greatest guitar players in history.
Gallery owner Sam Milgrom tells WENN, "It was a wildly successful evening and we sold out of Zlozower books. It was amazing to see so many of Neil's famous friends."
The photographer is considered one of the greatest rock concert snappers of all time, and toured extensively with acts like Van Halen and Motley Crue, among others.
Six-String Heroes features a foreword by Vai.
