NEW BANDS ADDED ARE - Sleeping With Sirens / Memphis May Fire / Andrew Mcmahon / Man Overboard / MC Lars / The Summer Set / Mallory Knox 

January 7th, 2013 - SEVEN new bands can now be announced for 

SLAM DUNK 2013. First up are SLEEPING WITH SIRENS, one of THE bands to watch for 2013. The band have enjoyed multi-million views on all their online videos, countless sold out tours in the US & are now recording a new album out via Rise records later in the year. Having announced their headline run recently, it was upgraded within days and most of the shows are now sold out. 

Also added are Texan 5 piece MEMPHIS MAY FIRE, who's set at 

SLAM DUNK 2013 will be your only non- London chance to see them in the UK this year. ANDREW MCMAHON (Jacks Manequin/Something Corporate) will be playing acoustically, and he will be joined at the festival by pop punks MAN OVERBOARD, the post-punk laptop rapper MC LARS, Arizona pop punkers THE SUMMER SET and current Radio 1 play-list rock darlings, MALLORY KNOX. 

Slam Dunk Festival, now in its 8th year, has now expanded to a full 3 day touring festival. The new Midlands Festival will be a full version of the festival and will have the same acts and number of stages (7) including outdoor stages as the Leeds & Hatfield sites.
