Sir Paul McCartney steers clear of a regular workout as his energetic gigs keep him fit and healthy.
The Beatles legend, who turns 70 on Monday (18Jun12), has not hit the gym in years, insisting taking to the stage for hours gives him all the exercise he needs.
He tells Britain's Daily Star newspaper, "I've been having cardio-vascular exercise for years but it's on stage. I can't believe I do a three-hour show without taking a breath. You assume you would be feeling it now - but it's the opposite."
