Music legend Sir Paul McCartney is fuming after learning a pack of hunting hounds had trampled over a memorial site for his late wife, animal rights campaigner LINDA.

The former beatle bought the land in Somerset, England 10 years ago (93) to prevent local hunts crossing it - but was outraged when he heard there was video footage of hounds chasing a deer across the scared site.

Sir Paul's spokesman says, "He will not be very happy about this at all. He bought the land to create a sanctuary and you can't have a sanctuary if staghounds go on it."

The offending QUANTOCK HUNT is now facing legal action.
