Sir Paul McCartney gave his wife NANCY SHEVELL an extra special Valentine's Day (14Feb15) present by dedicating a song to her at a show in New York.

The Beatles legend played a small one-off concert at Irving Plaza in the Big Apple on Saturday (14Feb15), and he marked the most romantic day of the year by paying tribute to his partner.

MCCartney dedicated his track My Valentine to Shevell, who was watching from the audience, and red pieces of confetti shaped like rose petals showered the crowd as he played.

Stars including Meryl Streep, Bradley Cooper, Jim Carrey, Eddie Murphy and Tom Hanks were all in the audience for the gig.
