Sir Paul McCartney is reportedly furious after a private phone call between him and daughter STELLA was bugged - and forwarded to estranged wife Heather Mills. British tabloid the Sunday Mirror claims the call contained derogatory comments by designer Stella about her stepmother's controversial past, and also questioned her charity work. Mills, who got hold of the recording last month (JUN06) through a third party, allegedly challenged the former beatle about the tape last week (ends07JUL06) and is furious at the content. It is believed the phone security breach took place at the musician's lavish farmhouse in East Sussex, England and he is outraged it could have happened. A friend says, "Nobody on Paul's side has any idea how these tapes have fallen into Heather's hands. But Paul is absolutely furious at the leak. He can't believe private phone calls of his have been bugged. It is a massive breach of security for him - and it makes him feel completely ill at ease." There has been no suggestion Mills made the recording. She split form her husband-of-four-years in May (06).
