Sir Paul McCartney is to face questioning by detectives following his infamous 'scuffle' outside David Blaine's Perspex box stunt last September (03).

The former beatle got into a fracas with photographer KEVIN WHEAL, from London's EVENING STANDARD newspaper, after he tried to take a picture of him.

Wheal claims McCartney pushed him in the chest after becoming upset that the snapper was following him, while his colleagues allegedly punched a press man and broke his camera.

McCartney also allegedly swore at journalists and members of the public who tried to speak to him.

It later emerged McCartney's publicist Geoff Baker had tipped the photographer and reporter off as to his whereabouts.

Officers are to speak to the YESTERDAY hitmaker about the incident, before deciding whether to pursue the matter further.
