Sinead Oconnor sure knows how to celebrate a birthday and the singer's got some rather extra special plans for her upcoming 45th tomorrow on December 8th - by getting married! The Irish performer revealed the information in a blog post on her official website, saying "With enormous joy myself and my beloved boyfriend Barry Herridge will be getting married tomorrow, December 8th 2011 at 'an un-disclosed location' in my absolute dream wedding ceremony." The star posted a picture of the pair together - with O'Connor now back sporting her famous shaven haired look - and finished the message by saying "We will post a photo or two here on the site as soon as possible afterward. Very happy girl. : )"
Great news indeed, though the fiery Irish singer has been married three times before. The first, to music producer John Reynolds, ended amicably with the studio man going on to produce several of her albums; she also married Nicholas Sommerlad in 2002 before divorcing and - most recently- Steve Cooney just in July of last year, divorcing him in April of this.
After a quiet couple of years, O'Connor's set to return in 2012 with a new album entitled 'How About I Be Me And You Be You', the first track of which was released on November 8th called 'How About I Be Me'.
