Singing legend DAME Shirley Bassey is planning to leave the Somerset, England site of the Glastonbury Festival immediately following her performance.
The Welsh diva is one of the headline acts at this week's (22-24Jun07) huge music event, but admits the infamous mud and camping side of the festival is thoroughly unappealing to her.
She says, "I've bought some wellies just in case (it rains). but I'm not going to get the chance to see the other acts as I'll be flying in for my performance and leaving afterwards.
"I am a little nervous - I do still always get nervous. But I'm fine once I'm on stage and I'm very excited about performing at Glastonbury."
