Sheryl Crow has offered her sympathy to the victims of a devastating tornado in her home state on Sunday (22May11).
The singer, who was born in Kennett, Missouri, was heartbroken to learn about the twister, which claimed the lives of over 110 people in the city of Joplin.
The All I Wanna Do hitmaker has taken to her Twitter.com page to reach out to those affected by the disaster.
She writes, "My heart goes out to those whose lives have been affected by the devastation caused by the tornado in Joplin. You are in my heart & prayers... Total devastation."
Crow also urged her followers to help aid efforts, adding, "Please visit redcross.org for relief effort for Joplin, Missouri tornado."
