Sharon Stone is frustrated with the amount of attention paid to her nudity in her breakout movie BASIC INSTINCT - because she insists her acting is "pretty good" in it.

The 47-year-old screen siren played smoldering seductress CATHERINE TRAMELL in the 1991 movie, and has recently finished filming its long-awaited sequel in London.

But Stone wishes people would move past her flesh-filled scenes and look at her overall performance in the film.

She says, "I think my performance has held up. The film and the character don't stay with you because of the nudity. That scene doesn't have impact because a woman uncrosses her legs, but because I'm good in it."
