Sharon Osbourne credits her adolescent job as a shop shelf-stacker with launching her rock management career, because it brought out her talent for precise organisation.

The wife of Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne took such pride in her position at London's Oxford Street branch of retailer Marks + Spencer, she hated it when customers removed items from shelves.

She tells Attitude magazine, "I loved it. I wanted mine to be the bestest, tidiest most organised place in the store. I didn't like any customers touching my shelves."
