A week after making US pop history by becoming the most played artist ever, Shakira is celebrating again - she's jumped to number one. The Colombian pop sensation's new hit, HIPS DON'T LIE, entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart 12 weeks ago, and has risen steadily ever since. But thanks to all the US radio play and a surge in downloads - a record-setting 266,000 in a week - the track has shot up the charts from number 38 to number one. The track also tops Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart for a fourth week, and both the Hot Digital Songs chart and the Pop 100 for its first. The track bumps rapper Chamillionaire's RIDIN' to number two on the main chart after a two-week stint on top. Nelly Furtado's comeback single, PROMISCUOUS, remains at number three. Meanwhile, country trio Rascal Flatts' great year continues - the group's cover of TOM COCHRANE's LIFE IS A HIGHWAY is the week's highest chart debut at number 59. Mary J Blige and U2's acclaimed remake of ONE is also a new entry on the chart - at 86.
