Liza Minelli sings a "rock and roll" number in 'Sex And The City 2'.

The 64-year-old screen legend has a cameo in the highly anticipated movie, and admits her performance at the wedding of gay character Stanford Blatch (Willie Garson) was "a blast".

She said: "It's a wonderful number. We had a blast.

"It's rock and roll. Everything is moving! And I just got a whole new knee, so I can promise you everything is moving."

Liza is one of a number of guest-stars in the romantic comedy - Miley Cyrus and Penelope Cruz are also seen in the trailer for the film.

Chris Noth, who plays Carrie Bradshaw's (Sarah Jessica Parker) husband Mr. Big in the film, recently revealed the second movie focuses on comedy, but also give more of an insight into his marriage to Carrie.

He said: "No matter how long you've known someone, marriage changes some things in unexpected ways. And it's a learning process for Carrie and Big.

"I'm more excited about this movie than I was about the first one... there's a lot of humour, which I love."

'Sex and the City 2' - which also stars Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall - is released in cinemas on May 28.
