Seth Macfarlane is to be a host on the forthcoming season of Saturday Night Live, reports CNN Entertainment.
NBC announced on Wednesday that The Family Guy creator is set to be next in a long line of star-studded presenters of the late night sketch show. It's a huge year for Seth; after making his directorial debut with Ted, the smash hit comedy which featured an animated bear, he's due to present one of the most popular American shows, which will enter a staggering 38th season when he guests on September 15th. Seth's show will be graced by musical sensation Frank Ocean, whose album Channel Orange has been hailed by critics.
Also set to step in is Dark Knight Rises star Josephgordon-levitt, who has also enjoyed a prolific summer. His role in the Batman Trilogy won him many plaudits, and his fixie-bike thriller; Premium Rush has been received well. He'll host the show on September 22, and will be joined by Mumford And Sons who'll be performing for the first time on the show. James Bond, well. Daniel Craig will also guest-present. His show will premiere on October 6th, with Muse set to perform. It looks like the 38th incarnation of the American favourite will feature more stars than ever.
