Producers behind a documentary about tennis star siblings Venus and Serena Williams have resolved a dispute over footage rights.
The crew behind Venus and Serena, which tracks the sisters' success in the sport, were sued by officials at the United States Tennis Association (Usta) last year (13) over allegations they had used on court clips from U.S. Open matches without permission.
However, the legal dispute has now been resolved after both parties reached a settlement. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
A representative for the Usta tells New York Post gossip column Page Six, "The dispute has been resolved to the parties' mutual satisfaction," while a statement from the filmmaking team reads, "We're pleased that tennis fans will continue to enjoy the film... without censorship."
