Selena Gomez says it is "not easy" dealing with claims her boyfriend Justin Bieber had fathered a child with a fan.

The singer-and-actress admitted it has been a tough time for the couple - who have been dating since March - but the pair are doing their best to cope.

When asked by chat show host Ellen Degeneres if she's been OK since the allegations emerged, the brunette beauty replied: "I have been, yeah. It's not easy to deal with."

Ellen then referred to recent reports the lawsuit has been dropped by saying: "Everything's all good now. You knew that all along but it's nice to have everything out in the open now."

And Selena replied: "Yeah, it's good to just kind of be good."

Yesterday (16.11.11), Mariah Yeater - who claimed Justin was the father of her four-month-old son - dropped her paternity lawsuit against him, which the 'Never Say Never' hitmaker denies, but her new lawyer has revealed she wants to pursue the matter out of court.

Jeffery M. Leving told Chicago's WGN-TV: "This matter is not over. Negotiations are going on right now with Bieber's counsel. There's a new legal team [in place]."
