Prolifically idiosyncratic singer-songwriter and ballad composer Sean Nicholas Savage recently announced his latest album Bermuda Waterfall, released May 13th on revered Montreal label Arbutus Records (Grims, Majical Cloudz, Blue Hawaii).
Following first single 'Naturally', now comes a second preview of the album with the gentle romantic ode of 'Heartless', highlighted by plucked nylon guitar, drums befitting of an 80's prom slow dance and Savage's enchanting signature croon.
Bermuda Waterfall sees Savage's gift for bracing, timeless song craft and prowess as a philosopher reaching a new zenith across 12 tightly written pop songs packed with rich musical depths and devastating emotional gravity. It offers listeners the opportunity to observe the fascinating evolution of a truly one-of-a-kind artist and confident expansion of his musical palette: 'Darkness' and 'The Rat' see cinematic piano imbued with chilling honesty. 'Heartless' and 'Hands Dance' are carried by Spanish guitars and wouldn't feel out of place in an out of place John Hughes film, albeit a decidedly unusual one. Elsewhere, 'Empire' and 'Some Things Never Die' see Savage's lush harmonies hover longingly over new romanticist soul.
Along with this, Savage is pleased to announce a run of UK and EU tour dates for April, May and July.
