The hip hop star, who founded Bad Boy Records in 1993, recently announced he would be reuniting with artists from the label including Lil Kim, Mase, and Faith Evans for a U.S. tour in August (16) and he is now continuing the celebration by releasing a special CD box set on 12 August (16) to belatedly mark the label's anniversary.

The collection will feature music from artists including the late Notorious B.I.G., 112, Evans, Janelle Monae, MAChine Gun Kelly, French Montana and Cassie plus a 64-page biography and foreword on the collective's legacy written by music journalist Michael A. Gonzales.

"Bad Boy helped make hip hop what it is today - and this collection highlights all the music, history and vision that made Bad Boy number 1,” the rapper told “We wanted to thank our fans, celebrate the music, the people, and the Bad Boy lifestyle that have defined the past two decades. We’ve always made music that makes the people dance; this collection does all that and more, and it is a celebration of all things Bad Boy.”

The Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour kicks off on 25 August (16) in Columbus, Ohio and runs for 25 dates until 8 October (16) in Oakland, California.
