The widow of late rocker Scott Weiland claims she is owed more than $60,000 (£42,000) from his estate.
The former Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver rocker was found dead on his tour bus in December (15), aged 48. It was ruled his death was caused by an accidental overdose of cocaine, methylenedioxyamphetamine (MDA) and alcohol.
Photographer Jamie Wachtel, who married Weiland in 2013, has filed a claim against his estate suggesting he owes her around $60,000 because he didn't pay her the $2,000 (£1,400) per month he had allegedly promised her in their prenuptial agreement.
Jamie claims the monthly payments were supposed to increase by seven per cent each year, but he had only made two instalments by the time he died.
Jamie believes she would be $64,000 (£45,000) richer if Weiland had paid up according to their prenup, and wants his estate to give her the money, according to TMZ.com.
Weiland was previously married twice before - to Janina Castaneda between 1994 and 2000 and Mary Forsberg between 2000 and 2007. They have two children Noah and Lucy. Mary filed a request to be the executor of his will in February (16).
