Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears is suffering extreme anxiety over their forthcoming second album - because he fears it will flop.

The camp band's eponymous debut stormed the charts in Britain making them instant cult figures and also picked up the Best International Album gong at last month's (FEB05) Brit Awards.

But Shears is terrified they will fail to emulate such success when their second LP reaches stores in the autumn (05).

He says, "The second album can be a curse. I just hope we can overcome this."
