The rocker was performing with his band The Conspirators in Las Vegas on Thursday (31Dec15) when he took a moment to remember the Motorhead frontman, who died on 28 December (15).

During the concert at the House Of Blues, Slash said, "This is for Lemmy", before beginning a high-energy performance of Motorhead's Ace of Spades.

Slash was one of the first rockers to pay tribute to Lemmy after news of his death broke, stating, "I'm going to miss this guy more than words can express; Rock n Roll personified & the embodiment of everything it stands for & a truly good friend. RIP Lemmy."

The heavy rock icon was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer on 26 December (15), two days after celebrating his 70th birthday. He died two days later.
