Funnywoman Sarah Silverman has confirmed THE SARAH SILVERMAN PROGRAM is set to return to TV screens - a day after she reportedly threatened to quit the series.
The actress was said to be infuriated after learning the budget for the third season this year (09) was slashed from $1.1 million (£780,140) to $850,000 (£602,835) per episode.
She and fellow executive producers Dan Sterling and Rob Schrab allegedly vowed to walk out if broadcasters Comedy Central went ahead with the planned cuts.
But 10 new episodes of the series have now been ordered after MTV Networks' sibling company Logo agreed to make up the difference by co-financing the show.
