Game Change, the movie that depicts Sarah Palin's controversial journey to political notoriety, debuted in Washington last night. Julianne Moore was the actress charged with the tricky job of portraying the notorious politician and although you'd have to double take to tell them apart in the movie, Julianne was clearly putting some distance between herself and her character at last night's premiere.
The 51 year-old actress cut a dashing figure in a green velvet Tom Ford dress which revealed an eyeful of her cleavage, with its plunging neckline. She set off the outfit with gold heels and a gold clutch handbag. According to the Daily Mail, the dress was made from an old vintage dress and panels of vintage velvet fabric. Moore had already attended the New York premiere of the controversial movie wearing a strapless Lanvin dress, again, a far cry from the bespectacled look that she employed for Game Change.
Fans of Palin have ben critical of the movie, as it does not portray her political capability in a good light. Speaking on the red carpet, Julianne explained that she felt the movie was less about Palin herself than it is about the "political process" in the USA. Moore said that she was assured that the film's material had all been well sourced, which was important to her before taking on the role.
