Sarah Michelle Gellar, the actress best known for her long-running stint on 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer', has confirmed she will return to 'All My Children' before the soap opera signs off this fall, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Speaking at the Television Critics Association's summer press tour in Los Angeles, Michelle Gellar said, "I can officially confirm I will be doing a guest spot". The actress admitted she did not know what her role would entail, but that she would only be shooting for "one day". Gellar starred as 'Kendall Hart' on 30 episodes of the show between 1993 to 1995, but that role is now played by Alicia Minshew. She said, "I don't want to be Kendall, that's Alica's role. I have no idea what I'm going to be doing". The actress has made few television appearances since 'Buffy' came to an end, although she is scheduled to star in the CW's upcoming drama 'Ringer' about a woman who takes on the lifestyle of her wealthy twin sister.
Sarah Michelle Gellar will return to 'All My Children' before the show's final episode airs on 23rd September 2011. The long-running soap is reportedly moving to an "online-only" network.
