Ryan Reynolds can spend ''hours'' perfecting his bow tie.

The 40-year-old actor sported a smart tailored suit, paired with a crisp white shirt and black bow tie to this year's Critics' Choice Awards, which took place in Los Angeles on Sunday (11.12.16), and the 'Deadpool' star has admitted, for him, tying the neck piece is ''a terrible process'' that he can waste hours on.

Speaking about the painstakingly long process of getting dressed prior to the star studded event, which saw him bag three awards at the bash including Best Actor in a Comedy for his role in the fantasy film, he told PEOPLE: ''This is, like, a 45-minutes procedure -- and that's on a good day.

''If I have to do one, sometimes it's hours. It's a terrible process.''

And the Hollywood hunk - who has 23-month-old daughter James and a five-week-old child, whose name is yet to be revealed, with his wife Blake Lively - has revealed being a father doesn't leave him much time to get dressed, and could easily forget to don a pair of pants.

He explained: ''I don't have time for anything -- I'm amazed I remembered pants!'' he said with a laugh.''

Meanwhile Ryan - who also received the Entertainer of the Year Award and Best Actor in an Action Movie at yesterday's ceremony - has revealed he is desperate to star alongside Hugh Jackman in a 'Deadpool V Wolverine' movie.

Speaking previously, he said: ''I want Deadpool and Wolverine in a movie together.''

However, the Hollywood hunk admits it could take some persuading for Jackman to agree to work on a sequel and he may have to garner the support of his online followers.

Reynolds admitted: ''What we're gonna have to do is convince Hugh.

''If anything, I'm going to need to do what I can to get my internet friends back on board to help rally another cause down the line.''
