Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively married in a secret wedding ceremony in South Carolina. Proving that he's not one to hang around, Ryan, 35, has walked his 25 year-old actress girlfriend up the aisle just a year after their relationship first became public knowledge. People magazine have spoken to a source who confirmed that Ryan and Blake's nuptials took place last night (September 9, 2012) at Boone Hall Plantation, in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.

The glamorous reception also took place at Hall Plantation, in a white tent, where Florence Welch (of Florence and the Machine) performed for the small number of family and close friends in attendance. Guests were also entertained by Bette Midler, who sang for the happy couple. Midler had been spotted having dinner in Charleston earlier in the week, with Blake's mother and sister. According to People magazine, a cake was driven down from Virginia especially for their big day.

The news of the clandestine wedding first broke on a local radio station, 95.1 FM, when the DJ announced "Hold up, there's another story that it's Ryan Reynolds and he married Blake Lively at the Cotton Docks today!" Kelly Gukanovic, who works at the station, told E! News "A few days ago, I heard Ryan was back in town. Then today, lots of signs went up at Boone Hall Plantation stating that it was holding a private event, so no one could get into the area. I also started hearing rumors that a celebrity wedding was taking place." It looks as though those rumors turned out to be true. Congratulations Blake and Ryan!
