Ryan Gosling fans better be happy with themselves; such has been the backlash in the wake of the Hollywood star missing out on the title of the World's Sexiest Man to fellow actor Bradley Cooper that the poor victor has admitted his own doubt as to whether he should really be worthy of the accolade. The pair have just come off set after finishing filming the Derek Cianfranc directed film 'The Place Beyond The Pines', and Cooper admitted that he couldn't help but admire the 31 year-old.
E! Online reports that Cooper was on the UK's 'Graham Norton Show', talking to the Irish chat show host about being voted the Sexiest Man Alive and the backlash that followed from Gosling fans. "A friend of mine showed me, there was photographs from paparazzi... and when I say 'friend,' I mean me, alone in my room looking at the computer," joked Cooper, "And it was of him walking around, and he literally looks like he's in a photo shoot, like he just came off the runway. With, like, the peacoat, with the scarf, and there's ones of me, and I literally look like the neighbour that never comes out of his house and when he does it makes you go, like, maybe he should just stay in."
If only Cooper had been left alone, he pondered, then such inadequacy issues may never have raised their heads; "I'm finally at an age-I'm 36 years old-where I finally don't care about anything like that anymore, which is a wonderful thing. And then this happened, and I started to realize how not sexy I am." He'd said earlier on, the poor lad.
