Funnyman Steve-O has vowed to carry on with his stand-up tour in honour of his late pal Ryan Dunn because his Jackass co-star was such a big fan of his live shows.
Steve-O was devastated after learning of Dunn's death in a car accident in Pennsylvania last month (Jun11) and immediately scrapped a string of tour dates.
He is taking his stand-up routine to London on Thursday (07Jul11) with a show at the city's Indigo2 venue, and he is determined to make Dunn proud of his performance.
Speaking on British morning TV show Daybreak on Wednesday (06Jul11), he says, "I cancelled everything. This is my first interview on camera since that happened. It's important to carry on.
"It's still really soon but I'm definitely gonna give it hell and I'm gonna do everything I can to make Ryan proud.
"Ryan came out to see my stand-up and he told me he was absolutely shocked at how funny my show was. Out of the Jackass guys he was the biggest supporter of my stand up. It's time to do it."
Steve-O will also perform a comedy set at Britain's Sonisphere music festival over the weekend (09-10Jul11).
