Rush Limbaugh is continuing to lose sponsors and advertisers for his radio show after making a series of ill-advised comments about Georgetown Law School student Sandra Fluke. The student had given testimony at Capitol Hill about health-plan coverage for contraception, leading Limbaugh to label her a "slut" and a "prostitute", reports the Wall Street Journal.

AOL Inc is among the latest advertisers to exit the show, stating on its Facebook page that the company had, "determined that Mr. Limbaugh's comments are not in line with our values". Elsewhere, others advertisers to begin distancing themselves from the comments include, Citrix Systems, Sears Holdings Corp and Allstate Insurance Co. Allstate said its ads were placed on the show by mistake and that it has pulled any further ads.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, musician Peter Gabriel is working to make sure his music is removed from Limbaugh's show, having learned his song 'Sledgehammer' was played during the attack on Sandra Fluke.

Premiere Networks, which syndicates the show to nearly 600 stations around the U.S., said on Monday (March 5, 2012) that it was "committed to providing its listeners with access to a broad range of opinion and commentary without condoning or agreeing with the opinion".
