Rumer Willis appears to be coping well now that recent family dramas are beginning to settle. Her mother, Demi Moore was rushed to hospital on January 23, 2012 and although the reason for the admittance has not been confirmed, it has been suggested that drug misuse may be at the root of her medical drama. After spending time by her mother's bedside whilst she was in hospital, People magazine has reported today (January 30, 2012) that Rumer spent a more 'normal' weekend socialising with friends in Los Angeles.
The actress - whose father is Die Hard star Bruce Willis - spent Saturday night in the company of Glenn Close, Glenn's partner David Shaw and her daughter Annie Starke. The four dined out at Comme Ça restaurant in LA, where one of the waiting staff is quoted as saying that Rumer seemed "fine" and that all four at her table "were all very gracious the whole time."
Glenn, David and Annie remained in Rumer's company on Sunday night as well, as they attended the annual Screen Actors' Guild Awards. Rumer and Annie are said to have spent the evening 'roaming' the party and drinking champagne and appeared particularly interested in the presence of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Rumer reportedly accepted a comforting hug from her friend, the Glee actor Mark Salling before she left, to finish the night's partying at Chateau Marmont.
