Fans of late rock 'n' roll star Roy Orbison are campaigning for a plaque to be erected on his unmarked grave in Los Angeles.
More than 8,000 people have so far lent their names to a petition urging the OH, Pretty Woman hitmaker's wife BARBARA to establish a lasting tribute.
A spokeswoman for his fan club said, "He was tremendously loved. It's a shame his grave remains unmarked."
Orbison died in 1988 from a heart attack.
He once famously said, "People often ask me how would I like to be remembered and I answer that I would simply like to be remembered."
